Overview
The RV Propane Cooking Usage Calculator helps RV campers, vanlifers, and outdoor cooks estimate how much propane they use for cooking and daily living. Instead of guessing when you’ll run out of propane, this tool calculates daily consumption based on your burners, cooking habits, and other propane appliances, then projects how many days you have remaining.

2 burners at 10,000 BTU each, cooking 30 minutes per meal, 3 meals per day:
Total BTU = 10,000 + 10,000 = 20,000 BTU
Cooking BTU per meal = 20,000 × (30 ÷ 60) = 10,000 BTU
Cooking gallons per meal = 10,000 ÷ 91,500 = 0.109 gal
